Welcome to our Internet home. NEO Bariatric Medicine provides evaluation and treatment of obesity and associated conditions in adolescents and adults. We take an aggressive approach to weight management by using a combination of nutrition counseling, behavior modification, and medication treatment (where appropriate). 

Why NEO Bariatric Medicine?

We provide an alternative to commercial weight loss centers by offering a comprehensive, integrated, individualized, medically-oriented approach to weight loss and weight maintenance.

No two overweight people are exactly alike. Each of us are unique genetically. "Canned" or "one size fits all" approaches to weight loss ignore this important fact.

Alot of people are tired of being on the weight loss treadmill with many different programs with varying results. Our weight loss programs incorporate a combination the latest research in nutrition, behavior modification, and medication treatment to provide a much higher degree of success than can be obtained with any single approach.

We also emphasize the importance of treating obesity as a long term problem just like high blood pressure or diabetes. Obesity, like these conditions, requires the development and continuous adjustment of a life-long program. 

While most physicians have little training in nutrition and the treatment of obesity, bariatricians have specialty training in these areas in order to provide the highest level of quality of care for overweight patients.

Our medical team is composed of myself (a bariatric physician), a registered dietician, and a nurse.

Wooster HealthPoint Office

We have offices in Wooster and Milllersburg. Our Wooster office is located in the HealthPoint building, Suite 3, on the road behind Wal-Mart.
