A lot people are tired of being on the weight loss treadmill with many different programs with varying results. Our weight loss programs incorporate a combination of the latest research in nutrition, behavior modification and medication treatment to provide a much higher degree of success than can be obtained with any single approach.
We also emphasize the importance of treating obesity as a long term problem just like high blood pressure or diabetes. Obesity, like these conditions, requires the development and continuous adjustment of a life-long program.
While most physicians have little training in nutrition and the treatment of obesity, bariatricians have specialty training in these areas in order to provide the highest level of quality of care for overweight patients.
Our medical team is composed of myself (a bariatric physician), a registered dietician, and a nurse.
